The story of Ruth is filled with brokenness, tragedy, intrigue, romance and redemption. God provided a "redeemer", a hero with character and courage, to rescue those who could not save themselves. Little did they know that God was working His ultimate plan of redemption through their lives, and through their family tree, The Redeemer would come.
God's destiny for Naomi, Ruth and Boaz came through the kind of circumstances we find ourselves in everyday. How does God work His will in the midst of our sorrow, grief, financial need, and even our bitterness? What kind of impact does it make to be a faithful friend, no matter what the cost?
